

A voluntary, non-profit, New York State licensed and Medicare Certified Home Health Agency with Long Term Home Health Care Program and AIDS Home Care Program as well as Community Outreach Programs.

Programs are focused primarily on the chronically ill and the frail elderly.
Non-medical support services offered to the frail elderly and chronically ill enables persons to remain safe and independent in their own homes and communities, often avoiding disruptive and expensive institutionalization.
These programs include Helping Hands, the Expanded In-Home Services to the Elderly (EISEP) in Suffolk and Senior Community Coalition in Westchester. The Interfaith Volunteers in both counties provide shopping assistance, friendly visiting, transportation to medical appointments and respite to caregivers.
The Helping Hands Program
provides non-medical support for the frail elderly, disabled and sick of all ages living below poverty level. Services enable clients to live independently in their own homes and avoid costly institutionalization.
The Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP)
provides case management and light housekeeping for the elderly residents of Southampton and is funded by the Office for the Aging and Community Development Block Grant.
Interfaith Volunteers for Charity in Action
provides transportation to medical appointments, shopping assistance, brief respites for caregivers and friendly visiting. Volunteers run thrift shops and assist with fundraising events. This program works with churches and synagogues in the local area to ensure assistance for the elderly with simple chores as well.
